Presidential candidates should present their stance on drugs : GMOA

COLOMBO (News 1st):- Speaking at a press briefing, the Secretary of the Government Medical Officer's Association (GMOA), Dr Haritha Aluthge said that they have already submitted proposals regarding various sectors and that among many of them their main focus was regarding the control of the production and the usage of tobacco products and illegal drug usage. He further urged all presidential candidates to present a practical action plan to address these concerns and further said that it is important that they present their stance on the usage of tobacco and alcohol in the country. Dr Aluthge added that their feedback on the most suitable candidate will be based on the stance and action plans of each candidate to address this matter.
