Official ballot notices handed to the Postal Department

Colombo (News 1st): The Official Ballot notices will be handed over to the Department of Postal Services today (October 25). Commissioner-General of the National Elections Commission Saman Sri Ratnayake speaking to News 1st said the hand-over will take place at all District Secretariats. Post-Master General Ranjith Ariyaratne speaking to News 1st said the distribution will commence from tomorrow (October 26). Acting Police spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana speaking to News 1st said the special security will be provided to the distribution process, adding a total of 8000 personnel were dispatched for this purpose.
