COLOMBO (News 1st)- Five suspects who were involved in several robberies in Guruthalawa, Welimada were arrested by the Bogahakumbura Police Division yesterday (October 23).

Police seized 11 mobiles phones and items valued at Rs 2.2mn in the suspect’s possession.

News 1st correspondent said that the seized items included jewellery and Rs 180,000 in cash.

The suspects are residents of Guruthalawa.
