TNA will definitely support us : Akila Viraj Kariyawasam

COLOMBO (News 1st) -During a press brief today, journalists inquired from Minister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam about the status of the discussions with the TNA. Akila Viraj Kariyawasam, Minister of Education noted that they are underway and the Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe is looking into the matter. He went on to note that they worked hard to develop the North and one of them is the Jaffna International Airport and therefore they have the confidence that would obtain the votes from the Tamil and Muslim communities of the North and East. Journalist: Can you win without the support of the TNA? Minister stated that he is confident that they would receive the support of TNA as they represented and secured their rights. He added that they would have votes from the North, East, South, and West, and they will win with a majority.
