Monthly salary for injured military, Police & STF personnel

Colombo (News 1st): Cabinet approval was granted to provide all injured military, Police and Special Task Force personnel a monthly salary equivalent to their last drawn salary at the time of their retirement, until their demise. Differently-abled soldiers injured during the war have been engaged in a continuous protest opposite the Fort Railway Station over the last few days calling on the government to fulfill their financial demands.
