Kanchipani Imran to be remanded until October 1st

Colombo (News 1st) - Colombo Magistrate, Kanchana Niranjana de Silva ordered the Organized Criminal Gang Leader and Drug Trafficker Mohamed Najib Mohamed Imran also known as Kanchipani Imran to be remanded until October 1st. The order was issued in reprimand to 7 cases including conspiring, aiding and abetting to commit murder that had been reported from Colombo and suburbs during the recent years. Furthermore, the case filed against Kanchipani Imran on the charges of making death threats to a police officer via telephone while he was overseas, was taken up before the Colombo Chief Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne today (September 17). The Magistrate ordered the Commissioner-General of Prisons to present the suspect to the Government Analyst on September 19th to have his voice samples recorded.
