Paddy purchasing for the Yala season starts today

Colombo(News 1st) - The Paddy Marketing Board announced that purchasing paddy for the Yala Season will commence today (September 2).
The Chairman of the Paddy Marketing Board, Kasthuri Anuradhanayake speaking to News 1st mentioned that a kilogram of Samba paddy will be purchased at Rs.41 and a kilogram of Nadu will be purchased at Rs.38.
The respective circular in this regard will be issued today.
