General Manager of NWSDB summoned to PCoI Police Unit

Colombo (News 1st): General Manager of the National Water Supply and Drainage Board Deepthi Sumanasekera has been summoned today (August 28) to appear before the Police Unit of the Presidential Commission appointed to probe allegations of fraud and corruption at state institutions over the past 4 years. The General Manager has been summoned to provide a statement over allegations of financial irregularities committed by the Water Board Chairman. Meanwhile, Legal Officer of the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau Kanchana Fernando has also been summoned to provide a statement before the Presidential Commission's Police Unit today.
