"Our choice of candidate for this election is wrong" : MP Kumara Welgama

COLOMBO (News 1st):- A new building constructed at the Bandaragama regional hospital was declared open today (August 18). The event was held under the auspices of Minister of Health Rajitha Senaratne. Non-Cabinet Minister Ajith P. Perera and Parliamentarian Kumara Welgama also attended this event. UPFA MP Kumara Welgama speaking at the occasion said that he had come to this venue only because he spent the money to construct the building and that the people should not misunderstand that he is preparing to join the UNP. He further said that he is a loyal SLFPer and does not switch parties and that he would die being one too. Welgama claims that the choice of their candidate for this election is wrong and that he hopes the next leader will be a good and democratic person who does not have a bad temper. He adds that he hopes they elect a leader who when criticized and cannot handle it takes it out on the general public and the media of this country.
