Suspect arrested at Mt. Lavinia with 18 kg of Kerala ganja

Colombo (News1st) - A suspect has been arrested while smuggling 18.522 kg of Kerala ganja in a vehicle, at St. Rita Road, Mt. Lavinia.
The police stated that the contraband was found during a search conducted on the vehicle based on a tip-off received by the STF this morning. (26 July. The 24-year-old suspect was reported to be a resident of Homagama.
The accused was scheduled to be produced before the Magistrate Court of Mt Lavinia today.
