Illegal slaughterhouse raided in Hidogama, Anuradhapura

Colombo (News1st) - Six individuals were arrested in Hidogama, Anuradhapura on charges of running an illegal cattle slaughterhouse. The suspects were arrested following a raid conducted by the Anuradhapura Anti-Corruption Unit. The Hidogama Police have also seized a lorry and a hand tractor that was used to transport cattle. The suspects have been taken into custody by the Hidogama Police and are scheduled to be presented before the Anuradhapura Magistrate Court.
