COLOMBO (News 1st) – Electric equipment in households across Ibabgamuwa were damaged due to high voltage power spike in the area. Reports indicate that nearly 20 households were affected in Bolagama, Ibbagamuwa due to the power spike.

Electric appliances such as televisions, refrigerators etc were damaged and each household has a damage value close to Rs 50,000.

Although the residents informed the CEB Gokarella regional office they had not received a positive response.
