04/21 Attacks: Court orders CID to detain and interrogate 2 suspects

Colombo (News 1st): Fort Magistrate Ranga Dissanayake today (July 10) determined Mohamed Assam Mohamed Mubarak alias Abdulla is the suicide bomber who detonated the explosives at the Kingsbury Hotel in Colombo on the 21st of April and is considered a person who voluntarily committed the crime. The Magistrate arrived at the conclusion after considering the submissions made to the court by the State Analyst's Department as well as the evidence in the case. The Criminal Investigations Department informed the court that 2 other suspects are being detained for 90 days and questioned over the same incident. The case was postponed to September 18th.
