Moonshine made using modern technology at Madampe

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Madampe Police division raided a farm at Suduwella, Madampe and arrested three suspects for running a moonshine racket. Police also seized nearly 1000 bottles of moonshine, godaa and equipment. The police revealed that the moonshine had been filtered using the latest technology. The illicit distillery produced about 1500 bottles of liquor per day. Police investigations are underway to find the mastermind behind the racket.
