Court revokes overseas travel permission for Aloysius

Colombo (News 1st): Colombo Chief Magistrate suspended overseas travel approval given to PTL Chairman Geoffrey Joseph Aloysius, following objections raised by the Attorney General. Court had permitted Geoffrey Aloysius, on June 13th, to travel to Singapore from July 1st - 11th in order to attend the wedding of his daughter. The Attorney General's Department said as legal action is to be instituted at the Permanent High Court Trial at Bar against Geoffrey Aloysius and several others over the Central Bank Treasury Bond Scam, permission for overseas travel must be revoked.
