155 suspects with warrants arrested

Colombo (News 1st): One hundred and fifty-five suspects with warrants against them have been arrested in a special raid carried out in the Gampaha district. Police said a special operation, involving officers attached to 36 police stations in the Gampaha district, was carried out last night. Ninety-three people with open warrants against them for absconding court and the police, and 62 people with daily warrants issued against them were arrested. They are due to be produced before the relevant Courts today (June 15).
