PM Dr . Harini Amarasuriya Returns to Sri Lanka After Official UK Visit

COLOMBO (News 1st); Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, who was on an official visit to the United Kingdom, returned to the island this afternoon.

She departed the island on the 18th of May to attend the 22nd Annual Commonwealth Education Forum.

During her visit, she also held discussions with the British Secretary and the Minister of State for Education.

The Prime Minister also took the opportunity to meet with Sri Lankans living in the UK during her tour.
