Pradeshiya Sabha tipper truck seized for illegally transporting soil to a private land

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Two tipper trucks that were transporting soil without a valid license were seized yesterday(June 05) in Medagama, Moneragala. The two trucks were taken into custody in Moneragala along the Moneragala-Bibile road. One of the trucks belongs to the Madagama Pradeshiya Sabha. Two suspects who are residents of Madagama have been arrested. According to the Police, the soil was transported to a private land.
