President instructs not to close roads for VIP movements

Colombo (News 1st): The President's media division said that President Maithripala Sirisena has instructed security officials not to close roads in a manner causing inconvenience to the public in order to facilitate VIP vehicular movement. The President had directed his attention to the matter during the Cabinet meeting held yesterday (May 21). The President's media division release said that accordingly, the relevant authorities have been informed to appraise VIP security personnel in this regard and to move the vehicles of the VIPs in a manner which would not obstruct the general public.
