Minuwangoda unrest: 32 granted bail

COLOMBO (News 1st) - 32 individuals who were arrested and remanded for causing unrest in the Minuwangoda town, while engaged in unlawful assembly, were granted bail today (May 22) by Minuwangoda Magistrate, Kesara Samaradivakara. The Magistrate ordered the suspects to be released on sureties of Rs 100,000 each. One condition that was imposed was that bail must be posted by a close relative of the suspects. The case is to be taken up again on the 28th of August.
