Wanted person arrested with live grenade

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A suspect was arrested in Karandeniya with a live grenade manufactured overseas. The police stated that the 37-year-old suspect was apprehended on a tip-off. The preliminary investigations revealed that the suspect had a warrant issued and he is wanted by the police for several crimes including mugging. The suspect is to be produced before the Balapitiya Magistrate court today(May 09).
