Helicopter and ship manufacturing Chinese investors meet Hambantota Municipal Councillors

Colombo (News 1st): A group claiming to be Chinese investors met with public representatives of the Hambantota Municipal Council today (April 9). The investors were visiting Hambantota to hold discussions about investment opportunities in the area. News 1st's correspondent reported that councillors representing the ruling party and the opposition were present at the meeting. The Mayor said that many investors involved in helicopter and sailing ship manufacturing were present at the discussions. The team left the meeting to inspect suitable lands in the area.
