Colombo (News 1st) – One person sustained severe injuries in an accident that occurred in Maanwila, Galle.

The accident occurred around 6.00 am when a motorbike collided on to a car.

Following the accident, the motorcyclist sustained severe injures and was admitted to the Karapitiya teaching hospital.

The injured was a resident of Akmeemana.

The car which was involved in the crash was taken to police custody and Akmeemana police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
