Supplementary estimate for defeated expenditure heads

Colombo (News 1st): A supplementary estimate was presented to Parliament following the defeat of the expenditure heads of two ministries recently. The value of this supplementary estimate is Rs. 287 Billion, cabinet approval was granted for it yesterday (April 2). The expenditure heads which were defeated were of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Provincial Councils and Local Government and the Ministry of Megapolis and Western Development.
