No power, no water, country suffers due to government bungling

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Several individuals across the country shared their dissappointment due to the inconveniences of the power cuts with News 1st today (April 01). Businesses ventures in several parts of the island have been inconvenienced and have delayed many business opportunities due to the power cuts. Residents of Colombo noted that they don't have even water for their basic necessities and that officials are worried about themselves while the public suffers. A businessman in Anuradhapura noted that he had to close down his shop and go back home as there was no power to operate the machines at his garage. The fate of the Gampaha businessmen was no different from the rest of the districts in the country.
