Sri Lanka tops EU illegal money list : Wimal Weerawansa

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The National Freedom Front held a public gathering yesterday (March 24) at Balangoda. The event was held under the patronage of Leader of the National Freedom Front, Wimal Weerawansa. He noted that the foreign exchange act was changed and Central Bank can longer scrutinize foreign currency which comes and goes out of the country. He said that this amendment would assist illegal money and terrorist financing profusely. He noted that the Europian Union blacklisted twelve countries in relation to black money circulation and Sri Lanka is at the top of the list. Wimal Weerawansa also noted that Gotabhaya Rajapaksa will represent them in the upcoming presidential election and he would secure not only Mahinda Rajapaksa's votes and other votes as well. He added that the whole country demands Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, a straight forward leader who would enhance the lives of the people.
