Gotabaya Appears in Court Over Lalith-Kugan Disappearance Case

COLOMBO (News 1st): Former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa appeared before the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court today in connection with the long-running case relating to the disappearance of Lalith and Kugan.
Rajapaksa's appearance followed a court order directing him to provide evidence to the Jaffna Magistrate’s Court through an online hearing while being present at the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court.
The order had been issued when the case was taken up before Jaffna Chief Magistrate S. Lenin Kumar on August 7.
