Arjuna slams present SLC administration

Colombo (News 1st) Former Sri Lanka Cricket Captain Minister Arjuna Ranatunga deprecated the conduct of the present administration of SLC noting, that they are responsible for losses in cricket matches. He said when a Competent Authority was in power at SLC, the team managed to win the matches but after the new administration came in, the winning took a u-turn. Speaking about Sanath Jayasuriya, Ranatunga said the former cannot be fined simply because he did not hand over his mobile phone to the ICC. Ranatunga said SLC must lock-horns with the ICC in such matters rather than remaining tight-lipped. However, Ranatunga said if one follows the roots of the issue, the real culprits can be nabbed by the law.
