DRUG WAR : Postal Department vigilant

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Postal Department announced that additional steps will be taken to curb the distribution of drugs via post. Postmaster Ranjith Ariyaratne added that state of the art technology and detection dogs will be utilized to achieve this goal. Meanwhile, a parcel containing methamphetamine was seized at the central mail exchange yesterday(March 09). The parcel has a street value of Rs.9mn.
