COLOMBO (News 1st) – A 33-year-old person has been murdered with the use of a sharp instrument at Sangaraja Mawatha, Kotahena. The victim has been identified as a resident of Dematagoda.

The person who was attacked with a screwdriver in his eye had been admitted to the National hospital in a critical condition. The victim succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment.

The person who committed the murder was arrested over the incident. Further investigations into the incident are underway.
