Father stabs his daughter to death in Nochchiyagama

Colombo (News 1st): A father in Nochchiygama had stabbed and killed his daughter and injured his wife. Police noted that this was a result of a heated confrontation between the father and the mother. The daughter died while en route to the Anuradhapura General Hospital from the Nochchiyagama hospital. The mother who is in a critical condition is currently being treated at the Anuradhapura General Hospital. The suspect who was arrested by the police last evening (Feb 21) is due to be produced before the Thambuttegama Magistrates court today (Feb 22).
