IMF representatives to meet with Minister of Finance

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A meeting between the representatives of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Minister of Finance and Mass Media Mangala Samaraweera is due to be held today (February 17). A high ranking official of the CBSL said that the representatives of the IMF would be made aware of the country's present economic situation. Last Thursday (February 14) a delegation from the IMF arrived in Sri Lanka on a two-week visit. The delegation was led by Ms. Manuela Goretti.
