Discussions on Sena caterpillar at Gannoruwa

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A special meeting is to be held today(February 10) at the National Agriculture Information and Communication Centre in Gannoruwa in order to look into future of Sena caterpillar eradication campaign. The meeting is to be led by the Director-General of the Department of Agriculture, Dr. M.W.Weerakoon with the intention of analyzing statistics of the Sena caterpillar destruction at a provincial level. Director General Weerakoon noted that farmers will be informed on various other crops that should be cultivated in the upcoming Yala season.
