A new COPE report on state universities

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Chairman of COPE, MP Sunil Handunnetti says a new report will be compiled regarding Universities. Attending SATANA live discussion aired on Sirasa FM last evening(February 09) Handunnetti said that a common report on all state universities, which includes usage of funds, student funds, staff members with overseas scholarships and university research programs will be issued. He also mentioned that actions taken by relevant Ministerial secretaries regarding the facts that were brought to light by the COPE report should be submitted to Parliament before the 24th of March.
