Police bust over 4500 narcotic pills in 24 hours

Colombo(News1st) - A suspect was caught with a stock of 1695 narcotic pills in Pelawatta, Thalangama. The police noted that 34-year-old suspect was a resident of Battaramulla. The suspect was arrested in a mission carried out by the Special Task Force of the Rajagiriya Police division. Another suspect was also arrested with a stock of 2925 narcotic pills in Baddegama. The mission was executed by a group of operatives of Southern province special investigations unit. According to the Police, the weight of the seized narcotics exceeded 25 Kg.
