Multiple heroin raids in Colombo

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Four suspects have been arrested from several areas in Colombo for the possession of Heroin. Slave Island The Police informed that a 38-year-old resident of Henamulla, Colombo 15 was arrested last night (January 11) with over 12g of heroin. He was arrested from Vauxhall street, Slave Island. Meanwhile, another suspect aged 31 was arrested from the same area with over 3g of heroin last evening (January 11). The arrested suspect is identified as a resident of Anuradhapura. Borella Another suspect was arrested along with over 2g of heroin from the T-Wissewaththa area in Borella last night (January 11). The suspect who was arrested based on a tip-off has been identified as a resident of Seevalipura, Borella. Grandpass A 26-year-old has been arrested at noon yesterday (January 11) from Grandpass for the possession of over 5g of heroin. The suspect is due to be presented before courts today (January 12).
