Chilaw Plantation workers protest enters 2nd day

Colombo (News1st): Chilaw Plantations Company workers staged a protest for the second consecutive day today. The protest was staged obstructing the entrance of the head office of the Company. The protesters charge that the daily wage of Rs. 615 per day is not sufficient. News 1st made attempts to contact the General Manager of the company but it proved to be futile.
