Colombo (News1st): Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe commenced duties for the New Year at temple trees this morning (January 01). Several Ministers, MPs and other dignitaries, including Deputy Leader of the United National Party, Minister Sajith Premadasa, were present at temple trees.

Following religious observances, they were hosted for tea at temple trees by the Prime Minister. Extending his new year greetings, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe in his message stated that the new year dawns with new hopes and goals, adding that it will be a challenging time for the country to make a better society for our future generation.
