Government is behind the Digana unrest - Wimal Weerawansa

Colombo (News1st): The Leader of the National Freedom Front Wimal Weerawansa speaking at a media briefing today said they suspect that the government is behind the events that took place in Digana, Kandy. He added that it is the government that must clear these accusations. Weerawansa noted that when such incidents take place, people are produced in courts and thereafter imprisoned, however, investigations won't capture the brain responsible for such incidents. Speaking regarding this statement UNP MP S.M. Marikkar said that if Wimal Weerawansa is dedicated to reconciliation and the country, Weerawansa should turn over the person he knows responsible for the Digana unrest.
