Colombo (News1st): The Director of the Non-communicable Diseases Unit at the Ministry of Health Dr. Thilak Siriwardana warned that children in Sri Lanka could be vulnerable to non-communicable diseases. He added that the warning comes after a comprehensive study. The reason becoming the less-active nature of children. Dr. Siriwardana warned as a result of being less active, there is a risk of children falling victim to Heart Attacks, paralysis, diabetes, and cancer.
