Colombo (News 1st) - UPFA MP Dinesh Gunawardena states that the vote for the motion of confidence in Ranil Wickremesinghe to function as the PM, which took place in Parliament today (Dec 12) was conducted unconstitutionally and against the standing orders of the Court. He noted that Ranil Wickremesinghe has failed to establish a majority in Parliament as only 103 MP's have voted in favour and even though TNA pledged their support they will not be joining to establish a government. MP Dinesh Gunawardena said, therefore only 103 MP's are in favour of Ranil and that he is incapable of forming a government.
