115 mobile phones found during prison raids

Colombo (News1st): 115 mobile phones, 127 SIM Cards, 57 Mobile Phone Batteries, 27 Phone Chargers and 116 small packets containing narcotics were found in the possession of prison inmates following raids conducted in 15 prisons over the past month. A majority of the items were from recovered from the Kalutara Prison. Allegations have been leveled which state that officials at the Kalutara Prison are peddling drugs together with inmates. The Ministry of Prisons states that they are focusing their attention on the matter.
