COLOMBO (News 1st) - The National Water Supply and Drainage Board states that several areas in Colombo will experience an 18-hour water cut from 8.00 am today (November 24).
The areas affected are, Dehiwela-Mount Lavinia, Kotte – Kaduwela Municipal Councils, Maharagama and Boralesgamuwa.
Meanwhile, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board states that the Kolonnawa Municipal Council, Kotikawaththa-Mulleriyaawa Municipal Council, and Soysapura housing schemes will also experience a disruption in their water supply.
Mandatory maintenance of the Ambathale water purification plant has been cited as the reason for the disruption.
