DIG Nalaka De Silva hospitalised

COLOMBO (News 1st) - DIG Nalaka De Silva who was in charge of the Terrorist Investigations Division of Police and presently interdicted from service, has been moved to the National Hospital in Colombo for medical examination. A source from the Prisons Ministry said the DIG was escorted to the National Hospital under special protection. He was moved to the hospital as per an order issued by the Fort Magistrate's Court to submit a medical report on his heart condition. The report will be produced in court on Monday (November 19).
