Four spill gates of Victoria reservoir opened

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Department of Meteorology states that showers can be expected across the country due to a low-pressure area developing in the vicinity of Sri Lanka. Four spill gates of the Victoria Reservoir automatically opened today (November 06) due to the inclement weather in the Central hills. Six sluice gates of the Nachchaduwa reservoir in Anuradhapura have also been opened while 10 sluice gates of the Parakrama Samudraya were also opened today (November 06).
