No chance for fuel subsidies

Colombo (News1st): The Ministry of Petroleum Resources Development states that there is no possibility to provide subsidies for fuel. According to the secretary of the Ministry Upali Marasinghe, an additional Rs. 4 billion is spent each month for Fuel. He added that this figure is expected to increase due to the depreciation of the rupee against the US Dollar.
