Road adjoining parliament collapses

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Chairman of the Road Development Authority, Nihal Suriyarachchi states that an investigation into the sudden collapse of a part of Denzil Kobbakaduwa Mawatha adjoining parliament is currently underway.
The Chairman also stated that measures have been taken to remove all electric and lamp posts from the area that collapsed.
Further, the collapsed area is currently closed for reconstruction purposes.
