Father clubbed to death by son over land dispute

COLOMBO (News 1st) - An unfortunate incident where a father had been clubbed to death by his son was reported from Palugasdamana, Polonnaruwa. The attack had been prompted by an unresolved land dispute. The deceased is a 69-year-old resident of Palugasdamana. Police have arrested the suspect who is believed to have committed the murder. The post-mortem examination is to be held today (September 23).
