Private hospital charges to be regulated

Colombo (News1st) - Minister of Health Dr. Rajitha Senarate states that the Ministry of Health will begin regulating the charges of private hospitals by next week. Accordingly, the ministry hopes to regulate 53 different charges. Director General of Health Services, Dr. Anil Jasinghe has been instructed to finalize the list of charges. The gazette notification in this regard is to be issued once the Director General of Health Services finalises the list of charges.
