Colombo power cuts rescheduled for Saturday

COLOMBO (News 1st) -  The Ministry of Power and Renewable Energy states that the power cut scheduled for today, to several areas in Colombo from 9 AM to 3 PM, has been canceled and rescheduled for tomorrow from 09.00 am to 03.00 pm. Earlier, Media Spokesperson of the Ministry, Sulakshana Jayawardena had stated that the power supply will be suspended in the areas of Colombo 03, 04, 05, 07 and Colombo 08 due to a system upgrade. Jayawardena further added that the power supply to certain areas could be suspended again, on the 31st of this month.
